Who We Are
We are importers and processors of top quality Premium Octopus in the NY Metro area!
Our History
For decades, fisherman in European countries have tenderized cephalopods such as Octopus and Cuttlefish in an old and primitive way. They took the freshly caught cephalopod in its dead form and hit it against the rocks repeatedly in order to break down the nerves. When they were done the Octopus' legs would tighten up and it would appear in a form that resembles a flower shape. Now in doing such, the Octopus would need less time to be cooked and the finished product would have a much tender texture that could be cut with a fork! We here at Octopus Garden have mechanically driven tumblers that mimic the same concept by today's standards. The finished product is then delivered in either a fresh or frozen form to the customer, distributor, or restaurant. That is what makes us unique and it is what our customers have known us for years about.

Retail & Wholesale Customers
We have a small retail outlet at our warehouse location in Staten Island,NY for local customers to come in and select what they want. For customers out of state or too far to travel we offer shipping via FedEx with Periship Service. We offer deliveries to wholesale customers with local restaurants and to distributors out of state via frozen LTL trucking or direct on American or Delta Airlines.
